Introduction

Are you struggling to find workout partners who can progress and motivate each other mutually? Or perhaps you're deeply interested in a niche sport but are struggling to find practice partners? If either situation resonates with you, consider giving Sportoo a try.

This product is designed to assist individuals or teams with group workout needs in discovering practice partners and fostering a supportive sports environment. You won't have to abandon your interests due to a shortage of participants or the specialized nature of the sport. Additionally, sports associations or clubs can utilize this platform to post events, competitions, or recruit new members.

Starting the Project

It's been a year since I last played volleyball, and I'm uncertain whether I'll ever get the chance to play again. Every now and then, I catch myself sighing and saying, 'Ah, I really miss playing volleyball.' This feeling is completely genuine for me. After leaving campus life, it seems nearly impossible to gather people or locate a volleyball court.

Volleyball is nearly impossible to play alone. A single person can only hit against the wall, and for serves, you have to run to the other side to retrieve the ball. With two people, you can practice sets and engage in mini-matches. With more participants, you can form a circle and volley. Once you have a 3v3 setup, a net can finally come into play, and one person from each team can even take on the role of a setter. It's only when you reach 6v6 that you truly have a standard match. In university volleyball tournaments, there are often situations where one department can't gather enough players for a complete team, so they collaborate with students from two or three other departments.

This might sound mundane, but this sport holds a special allure for me. It's a small matter that nags at me. You could argue that it's not overly significant, but it's like a knot that occasionally itches. I believe that if there were a way to connect with people who share the same sentiments as me, I'd be genuinely pleased.

User Exercise Behavior Analysis

According to the '2021 National Sports and Health Insight Report' by iResearch, it is evident that following the pandemic, people's enthusiasm for exercise and their openness to trying new sports have increased.

Summary

A few noteworthy aspects include the appealing logo, a concept that resonates with user needs, and the valuable feature of recording workout sessions. However, there are a couple of areas that could be enhanced: firstly, the user interface could benefit from a more visually engaging design; secondly, the overall coherence seems somewhat lacking, creating the impression that multiple components have been assembled together.

Furthermore, subsequent to finalizing the prototype, a number of deficiencies have been identified that were initially considered but not seamlessly integrated: for instance, there is no demonstration of how users can effectively manage their teams and members, and there's a lack of guidance on ensuring the smooth execution of activities once users have signed up (a possible solution that springs to mind is establishing group chats based on sports teams).
