HeyGen is an AI-powered video generator that allows users to convert their text into videos. The landing website was built using Webflow along with custom JavaScript and CSS code. I have been involved in the project since its inception, taking sole responsibility for translating design mockups into an actual website and handling some post-launch maintenance tasks. Currently, I am still collaborating with the official team.
The principal challenge inherent in this project lay in the translation of the website into a tangible manifestation that mirrored the user experience and functionalities meticulously delineated in the design mockups. These mockups were meticulously crafted by the project's designer, and my responsibility was to bring them to life on the digital canvas while concurrently ensuring ease of future maintenance and adaptability for modifications. Substantial custom JavaScript code was authored by me to imbue the website with interactivity.
In this project, I have gained increased proficiency in writing native JavaScript code, building website CSS styling systems, and working with Webflow. Through communication with the project's designers, I have also learned their perspectives on delivering a great user experience and implemented those principles throughout the development process.
