The planning for the scenic belt along the Ming City Wall in Nanjing has been in progress for an extended period, yet a unified and comprehensive signage system remains absent.
A city's greatest essence resides in its distinctive historical heritage. When formulating the landscape design for the city wall, the primary consideration should be its inherent historical allure. The inherent facade of the city wall serves as a tangible manifestation of its historical evolution, encapsulating both social and economic significance. As the adage goes, 'Change brings communication, communication brings longevity.' The Ming City Wall stands as Nanjing's backbone and a pivotal vessel for augmenting the city's caliber and living environment. Therefore, a multifaceted approach should be undertaken to exhibit and harness the city wall and the adjacent landscape resources, thereby enhancing Nanjing's ecological milieu and visual panorama. By employing a signage system along the Ming City Wall scenic belt, the intangible historical and cultural facets of the wall can be rendered tangible, engendering a sense of enduring heritage.
Undoubtedly, instituting a signage system constitutes a constructive measure to foster and cultivate an ambience befitting the city wall.
It appears that the logo design course is among the initial design courses that introduce the use of computer software for design upon entering university. After reviewing hand-drawn drafts, we transition to crafting digital designs on the computer. Prior to university, I did dabble in design software, albeit mostly for recreational purposes, and my familiarity with numerous functions was limited. However, since embarking on this course, I have noticed a growing proficiency in image processing techniques.
