About the Project

I received this project from a teacher at CUC University Animation Department. They want to create an English version website for their studio with a new and modern design. I presented them with some designs to choose from, and the design you see now is the one they selected. I began building the website from scratch.

Challenges

Because the website needs to be hosted on their dedicated server, which is very old and doesn't support any modern technology, I have no choice but to use pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build it. Additionally, the website needs to be compatible with all modern browsers. Consequently, I have to write a considerable amount of CSS code to ensure that the website displays correctly on all browsers. It is indeed a significant challenge for me.

Summary

Creating a website without the utilization of modern technologies can indeed present significant challenges. Given the need to finalize the website's construction prior to uploading it to the client's servers for the purpose of replacing the existing site, the initial decision to construct and host the site on Netlify for client review was a prudent one. This approach facilitated the collection of invaluable feedback from the client, which in turn informed subsequent code refinements, guaranteeing accurate display across a spectrum of web browsers. The ultimate step involved hosting the website on the client's dedicated servers. While this process may not have been particularly enjoyable, it undeniably contributed to a wealth of learning experiences.
