Conducted comprehensive research along Beijing's central axis, spanning from the Temple of Heaven to the Olympic Park. The study was meticulously divided into distinct sections: Temple of Heaven segment, Qianmen to Tiananmen stretch, Forbidden City to Jingshan precinct, Zhonglou (Bell and Drum Towers) area, and the Olympic Park vicinity.
Noteworthy attractions that warrant a visit encompass an array of iconic sites: the venerable Temple of Heaven, the bustling Qianmen Street, the charismatic Dashilan district, the historic Tiananmen Square, the majestic Forbidden City, the serene Jingshan Park, the emblematic Bell and Drum Towers, the enchanting Shichahai region, the vibrant 798 Art District, the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), the verdant Olympic Forest Park, the elegant Summer Palace, the evocative Yuanmingyuan (Old Summer Palace), the tranquil Beijing Botanical Garden, and the captivating Beijing Expo Garden.
During my childhood, I visited Beijing once with my parents, but I have no recollections of that time whatsoever. Hence, this experience can genuinely be regarded as my maiden voyage to Beijing. While I had encountered the Forbidden City myriad times through photographs and videos, standing there in person left me profoundly astounded. In the span of a single week, the abundance of destinations to explore and sights to behold was so extensive that it entailed effortlessly covering 40,000 steps each day. Moreover, I must confess that cycling along Chang'an Avenue at night delivers an exhilarating sensation like no other.
